Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. While a young student and professional, she sang with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that through her sharing her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly for the young generation to keep this tradition in the present.
