Rosalia

Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is an Spanish flamenco and pop artist. When she was a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice has been described by no less talented than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. The third album by Motomami collaborated on songwriting with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in 2022, as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear solo on the show. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
